Wedding Day-Fin

Jareth looked down the aisle, half-turning to get a better look as she walked towards him. Her hair was pinned partially up, with curls cascading around her shoulders. The dress hugged her like a dear friend, all the way to the flaring skirts of woven moonbeams. In one hand she held a cascade of stargazer lilies. Her steps were measured, confident. There was no hesitation in her.

After a long moment, her gold-highlighted eyes lifted and he felt a punch of longing, one that wasn't entirely sexual though that was a large part of it. Those green eyes pierced him until she finally lifted her head as she reached the dais, that beloved defiant tilt to her chin.

He offered her his hand, a faint smile turning up his lips. Will you defy me, even on our wedding day, he wondered. Her mysterious smile told him that she knew what he was thinking, yet she set her hand upon his.

This is the new BG color, and the final version of this pic. I edited a few other things while I was at it, and had to do the veil from scratch (It was not a transparent layer, it was painted, as is the case here).
